In early 2000, TND Homes contracted with Caldwell*Cline Architects to design craftsman bungalow plans for empty nesters and young professionals in The Village at Barrett Greene subdivision in Marietta, Georgia. The Village has become a model for craftsman bungalow developments throughout the southeastern United States

Our Business Philosophy

Over time, we have built communities that appeal to our own peer group, which is true again in our second "empty nester" styled community: WALNUT GROVE. Initially, we drew from our own and our friends' lifestyles in the design of our communities and our house plans. Today, we have the additional experience of having built 60+ custom homes for empty nesters.

Our recognized capability for building quality, detailed custom houses draws from our long association with most of our subcontractors. Many of these subs have been with us since the 1980's. Our subs appreciate the quality of our houses and have "bought in" to our commitment.

Our History

Brothers Mark Kirk and Ken Kirk began developing and building in 1985 in an area of west Cobb that was settled in the 1830's by their fraternal great grandparents. Their deep roots and familial affections for the area are reflected in the design and execution of the four communities they have developed adjacent to or near the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, which was once significantly owned by the Kirk and the Hardage families.

Their newest community, Walnut Grove, is only four doors from their childhood home on Whitlock Avenue.
